Allen Robinson

There is absolutely no question the Cardinals need to fins themselves a number two receiver that can eventually turn into number one when Larry Fitzgerald hangs it up for good.  Going after Robinson for that role would be a mistake.

First of all, Robinson will cost a lot of money.  That in itself would not be worrisome except for the fact the Cardinals are going to have to spread their wealth around carefully.

Secondly, we all know about Robinson’s injury history.  The Cardinals could write a book that rivals War and Piece on the subject of injuries over the last few years.

Adding an oft-injured player such as Robinson to the mix would seem like a bad business plan.  If money was no object and the Cardinals didn’t need a quarterback, he could be worth a shot.

However for now, let Robinson go.  They shouldn’t even be entertaining the thought.  That is unless he decides to come to Arizona on the cheap on a make good contract.

By the way, that’s not happening.  Someone is going to give Robinson a huge payday.
