The offensive line

The best moves the Cardinals have made so far in the new league year have been on the offensive line.  The Cardinals offensive line gave up over 50 sacks in 2017.  It had to be addressed immediately.

They signed guard Justin Pugh away from the New York Giants.  This was a big hit.  Pay no attention to the money the Cardinals threw at him (5 years , $45 million), this was a great pickup.

Although Pugh has had some back issues recently, the man can block and play some football.  At the very least, the optics are very good on this one.

Pugh comes over to a unit that struggled with injury itself in 2017.  They will need him to come up big in 2018.

They also signed tackle Andre Smith away from the Cincinnati Bengals.  This could mean the end for tackle Jared Veldheer.  However as of right now, Veldheer is still on the roster.  Passing grade on the offensive line so far.
