Lamar Jackson, Louisville
There is a very good chance Jackson is still on the board at 15 for the Cardinals. Some teams want him not as a quarterback but as a receiver.
Certainly the hope is the Cardinals aren’t interested in Jackson as a receiver, despite the need. Jackson has maintained he won’t play for anyone that wants him as a receiver.
With 27 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2017 for Louisville, can you blame him? He would be the mobile quarterback the Cardinals have long been missing.
There is a knock on accuracy with him and could be a reason the Cardinals pass on him come draft day. His arm is strong and he has good size. Is that enough though to get him into a Cardinals uniform this summer?
Some certainly believe so. A couple of experts on cbssports.com believe he will be the Cardinals selection at 15. Not everyone will be happy with the choice, but will everyone be happy with anyone?
