Marcell Ateman, Oklahoma State

Ateman certainly has the numbers to project a possible late first round or early to mid second round selection.  The timing though may just not be right for the Cardinals.

At number 15, the Cardinals certainly would not reach for a receiver.  Their chances are better taken reaching a bit for a quarterback.

That being said, Ateman’s numbers and size can not be ignored.  At 6’4 and 220, Ateman is going to make some NFL team very happy.

He played four full seasons at Oklahoma State.  He caught 146 passes for 2,466-yards and 13 touchdowns.

All 13 scores came over the last couple of seasons.  His first two seasons he was not as involved in the Cowboys offense with 42 catches.

The problem here is, although he would like nice in a Cardinals uniform, is that he is likely gone before the Cardinals get around to their second pick.  Never say never though.
