Major scare

We learned what some other teams have unfortunately already learned, that you are not likely to get out of camp without some injuries.  The Cardinals escaped a major one this week with linebacker Deone Bucannon.

He went down in practice on Thursday and immediately everyone thought the worst.  It’s hard not to think that when the team surrounds said player and the noise gets quieter.

However Bucannon was left out of practice on Friday and had an MRI.  On Saturday morning results were announced.  There was no structural damage and he would be day to day.

Bullet dodged.  It may not always end up that way and if history has taught us anything, it won’t always end up that rosy.

Bucannon is going to be counted on in the middle of the new 4-3 defense.  With as hard as he plays and as hard as Bucannon hits, a few days off is going to be a good thing for him.
