No time to rest

Although there was literally time to rest on Wednesday with a day off in week one, the fact is what each player does on the field this time of year is very important.  Don’t take a play off.

There is no insinuation any player took it easy, in fact by all accounts the exact opposite has been taking place.  However with the continued shuffling of players on and off the roster, every play needs to be taken as if it might be their last.

The Cardinals re-signed linebacker Cap Capi this week.  He was very popular with fans the last time around before he was cut.  That was a move that was very un-popular with fans.

This is not to say he will be with the team once they break preseason with their final 53 players.  However this is the time of year for players to show what they have.  There are 37 players that will eventually be cut fore September 9th.
