Arizona Cardinals: 5 who impressed against Saints

He may have a tough time making the Cardinals squad this season but he is doing a lot of work on the field that is getting him noticed.  Video won’t lie and the moment he gets cut by the team, someone else may come calling.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves though.  Could Nichols be a candidate for the Cardinals practice squad?  Based on his performances over the first couple of weeks, I’d say yes.

Nichols lead the team in tackles with six on Friday night.  Two of his tackles were for losses.  That lead the team on defense.

This is on the heels of four tackles in week one against the Chargers.  The point is, he is all over the field.  You always root for the guy that does a lot that doesn’t necessarily make the stat sheet or box score.

Right now, Nichols is doing enough to be noticed in the box score.  It just may not be enough to make this team but we still do have the two games left before decisions have to be made on the final 53.
