Tight End (3)

Ricky Seals-Jones, Gabe Holmes, Jermaine Gresham

Another position where four guys could make the roster but given the addition of fullbacks to the roster, it seems likely three will be the number.  With Gresham still on the PUP list, Seals-Jones takes over as the number one until he returns.

Gresham could start the season on the PUP.  If that happens, he misses the first six weeks of the season and could open the door for a guy like Alec Bloom.

Seals-Jones and Holmes have shown some flash in camp and the preseason so far.  Both have good hands and should be counted on.  Once Gresham officially returns it may take a few weeks for him to get back up to speed.

For now we’ll say they stick with three tight ends but easily could be wrong here.  A lot may depend on Gresham’s health at the end of next week.
