Linebacker (7)

Haason Reddick, Josh Bynes, Deone Bucannon, Gerald Hodges, Edmond Robinson, Scooby Wright III, Dennis Gardeck

This group is considered the weakest in depth on the defensive side of the ball.  Reddick has struggled and Bucannon just returned to practice this week. Health again rearing its ugly head.

Hodges just joined the team last week so he is still playing catchup.  Bynes was a nice surprise last season and should have his name called often this season.

Wright and Gardeck are nice players but the concern here is do they have the staying power?  We shall see what happens.

What is predicted here could be the most off once the 53-man roster is official a week from Saturday.  Don’t be surprised if the Cardinals go find a linebacker or two off of the waiver wire once the preseason ends next Thursday.

For now, we hope what they have can get them by without much damage done.  Stay tuned.
