Jermaine Gresham

Gresham was just removed from the PUP list on Saturday.  He missed all of camp and the preseason but is nearing ready to go.

However he just had his first practice on Monday.  He likely won’t play in week one.  Remember, he’s coming off a torn Achilles.

Gresham is currently third on the recently released depth chart by the Cardinals on Tuesday.  He will likely stay that way until he is ready to play.

Once Gresham is ready, he will certainly be vaulted up the depth chart.  In the 14 games he played in last season, he caught 33 passes for 322-yards and two touchdowns.

Wilks mentioned on Monday he isn’t going to speed things up just to get him ready to play.  He wants to make sure he is truly ready to go before he sends out onto the playing field.

How long that takes remains to be seen but it would not be surprising to see him not return until October.  Stranger things have happened though.
