David Johnson

He is a weapon each and every week.  Now despite how he played in week one, which wasn’t all of his fault, contrary to his own opinion, anytime he hits the field, his team should be in the game.

The Cardinals do need to utilize him more.  He only carried the ball nine times last week against the Redskins.

Whether they use him in the run game or passing game more, they need him to perform well in both phases.  Don’t over work him, but use him more.

It doesn’t matter who you are playing in the NFL.  If your best running back isn’t running the ball, then things are likely not to turn out your way that afternoon.

Johnson had the only score for the Cardinals last week.  He certainly has the ability to grab at least a couple of touchdowns, even against a strong Rams defense.

The offensive line will need to do their part but we’ve seen this group can block for him.  If they do it for 60 minutes consistently on Sunday, they just might have a chance.
