Josh Bynes

I keep telling people who ask who we should watch out for that maybe some people don’t think about, that Josh Bynes is your man.  Not just when asked about defense but overall.

Bynes has been probably the most consistent player on the Cardinals roster so far this season.  He has shown up to play every week.

On Sunday against the 49ers, he had five tackles, one for a loss.  He was credited with a pass defensed and a quarterback hit, though he did not officially register a sack.

For the season he now has 61 tackles, three passes defensed, a forced fumble, a fumble return for touchdown, and one sack.  He has been all over the field.

The linebackers have not played well as a core unit but Bynes is doing his best to give them a good name.  Certainly he will be needed in the second half of the season and if the first half is any indication, teams had better prepare for him.
