Brock Osweiler

Could the former Arizona State product return back to play in the Valley?  Sure, it wouldn’t be at Sun Devil Stadium but it is a thought the Cardinals should give.

After a successful stint as the Denver Broncos savior a few years ago, he ended up a bust with the Houston Texans.  Last season he played admirably as a replacement for the injured Ryan Tannehill with the Miami Dolphins.

He had a 63.5 percent pass completion percentage in 2019.  He threw six touchdowns against four interceptions.

There have been no rumors of Osweiler coming to Arizona but he is available and might even end up being cheaper than what Glennon cost them.  Osweiler has an arm that could be exploited in Kliff Kingsbury‘s offense if called upon.

He’s not a guy you want to have carry your franchise but like he did in Miami, he could keep you in contention if a starter went down and the team needed you for a few weeks.  If he doesn’t end up in Arizona, it will be interesting to see where he does land.
