Brett Hundley

Honestly, I wasn’t the first guy to think of Hundley as a possibility in Arizona.  When arizonasports.com’s John Gambadoro first made mention of him as a replacement on Friday, it wasn’t someone I wouldn’t immediately have thought of.  However after thinking on it, it certainly makes sense from both a professional and financial standpoint.

Hundley, who spent 2018 as the backup to Russell Wilson in Seattle, is from Phoenix.  He played high school football at Chandler High School.

Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2015, Hundley has had the chance now to not only play backup to Wilson but Aaron Rodgers as well.  That’s some pretty good company.

Hundley won’t blow you away on the stat sheet but can be considered a solid backup who has four years of NFL experience under his belt.  If for nothing else, he would be a decent help to either Rosen or Murray.
