Week 8 – @ New Orleans Saints

Sunday October 27, 2019 – 10:00 a.m.

History: Series ties 15-15

Last time: December 18, 2016 – Saints 48 Cardinals 41

Just when you think Saints quarterback Drew Brees is getting too old, then he pulls off an amazing season in 2018 and take the Saints seconds from the Super Bowl.  In all honesty, he should have made it.

That said, the Cardinals go to a place that has never treated them very well.  The second consecutive early Sunday window game could spell trouble for the Cardinals against a playoff-contending Saints team.

We’ll see how much happens in the season between weeks 1-7 but don’t count on the Saints being down and out by this point.  We may also not really know who the real Cardinals are yet at this point either.

Remember when the Bruce Arians era started it took till just about this point of the season to find an identity.  Don’t look for many surprises here.

Prediction: Saints 35 Cardinals 12
