Week 9 – San Francisco 49ers

Thursday October 31, 2019 – 5:20 p.m.

History: 49ers lead 28-26

Last time: October 28, 2018 – Cardinals 18 49ers 15

The Cardinals have won eight in a row over the 49ers.  That is a streak that could end in 2019 with the return of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

The Cardinals didn’t have a lot of offense but one big play from Rosen to receiver Christian Kirk and five interceptions by the Cardinals defense helped in game one last year.  In the return game in Glendale, the Cardinals came back and won 18-15 in the final seconds thanks to another Rosen to Kirk connection.

Could we see much of the same this season?  Well fans are counting on Kirk but will Rosen be there?  Either way, we now know Kirk likes playing these 49ers.

The Cardinals return home on this Halloween game on national television.  Let’s just hope it doesn’t turn out to be the horror show the last Thursday night home game the Cardinals had last season against the Denver Broncos.

Prediction:  Cardinals 24 49ers 15
