Drew Brees

Not knowing how this season will shape out, certainly there is a chance this is the last time the Cardinals will see Brees.  However he doesn’t seem ready to retire anytime soon.

Still, at age 40, the end is coming soon, whether we want to believe it or not.  The Cardinals are going to get at least one final shot at him in week eight on October 27th in New Orleans.

Brees is 4-2 lifetime against the Cardinals.  He has thrown 12 touchdowns and six interceptions in those six games.

It was probably a good thing the Cardinals didn’t have to face him in 2018.  He had the best quarterback rating of his career at 115.7.  He went 13-2 in his 15 starts and threw just shy of 4,000-yards at 3,992.

Don’t expect a let up in 2019.  Brees is coming back to try to win it all.  The Saints came so close in 2018.
