#1 Kyler Murray

The overall number one draft pick may not have been officially announced as the starting quarterback for the Cardinals in 2019, but he is the starting quarterback in 2019.  General manager Steve Keim said so.

A team doesn’t draft a “sure thing” and a “can’t miss” number one overall and sit him.  The Cardinals are expecting big things from Murray early.

Not saying you should be drafting him as your fantasy starter but you may want to take a flier as a backup and if you see him preforming well, it could be a mid-season change at quarterback for you.  Yes, Murray will make mistakes but he will be an exciting player to watch for a long time.

Murray will hit for a lot of touchdowns, which will be important since he likely will be a double-digit interception guy his rookie season as well, so tread lightly.  That said, he still has a great chance to put up a lot of fantasy points in his rookie season.
