#93 Tim Hightower

Touchdown Tim is how many of us fantasy football owners referred to him as.  He wasn’t flashy or made all the headlines.  However Hightower was quite the producer for the Cardinals (and fantasy owners) for a couple of seasons.

He spent 2008-2010 with the team in Arizona.  In the Cardinals Super Bowl season of 2008, he carried the ball just 143 times for 399-yards.  But he made the most of his opportunities.

Many of those opportunities came inside the 10-yard line.  He would spell starting running back Edgerrin James at times.  He had 10 touchdowns in 2008.

Both 2008 and 2009 were playoff seasons for the Cardinals.  He contributed five touchdowns in those two playoffs.  In 2008 he had three playoff touchdowns, two through the air as as receiver.

Hightower had an NFL season-high 80-yard touchdown run in 2010 against the Atlanta Falcons.  He played three more seasons in the NFL after the Cardinals with the Washington Redskins and New Orleans Saints.
