Offensive Line

Arguably the worst performing area on the team in 2018.  The depth was destroyed with injuries early and often last season.  It all started with center A.Q. Shipley in camp last August.

He tore an ACL in the Red-White practice.  Now he will be coming back off of that but also fighting for a job with Mason Cole.  He will have pressure on him to make this squad.

It just starts there though.  The line lost D.J. Humphries, Justin Pugh, and had a poor showing from free agent Andre Smith.  They gave up on him before the season ended.

They went out and got a stud offensive line coach in Sean Kugler.  Pugh returns but Humphries has question marks on when he will be ready.  He did not get placed on the PUP list though.

They signed J.R. Sweezy and Max Garcia as free agents.  Sweezy comes over from the Seattle Seahawks and Garcia from the Denver Broncos.  Garcia did get placed on the PUP list though coming off a 2018 injury.

They also signed free agent Desmond Harrison from the Cleveland Browns after his release.  However that was a short lived relationship after he was arrested for a domestic issue.  He was subsequently released by the Cardinals.
