Coaching

A lot of head scratching when the Cardinals decided to hire lifetime college coach Kliff Kingsbury in January.  He was fresh off a hire as offensive coordinator at USC a month earlier in December.  He was fired as the head coach at Texas Tech at the end of November.

So how is it he can’t succeed at that level at Texas Tech but is the guy to run the show at the next level in the NFL with the Cardinals?  Many are definitely asking themselves that question.

It has lead to predictions of a season just as bad or worse than the 2018 Cardinals.  However with the hire, there is a hint of excitement in the air.

Kingsbury brings his “Air Raid” offense to Arizona.  Some aren’t sure it is a good fit for the NFL but it’s not been tried.  We are going to find out pretty quickly whether the Cardinals were fools or innovators in this endeavor.
