Speaking of Hundley and his connection with Sherfield, those touchdown passes he has throw to Sherfield is exactly why Hundley has nailed down a spot with the team. Some even think he still has a chance to start.

Will he start? Not in the beginning. This is Kyler Murray’s team but he is the future. If Murray struggles out of the gate, Hundley could find himself inserted into the lineup early.

For now, that would not seem to be an issue. He looks comfortable out there in Kliff Kingsbury‘s offense. To have a veteran like Hundley out there with a few years now under his belt, is a big plus for this organization.

Hundley has looked better this preseason than he has in previous regular season’s with the Green Bay Packers. He rode the bench last year with the Seattle Seahawks and if Murray plays well, he will do the same this year. However it is nice to know the Cardinals have someone ready if Murray doesn’t perform.
