Michael Dogbe

The rookie defensive end from Temple more than made a case to stick around past next week.  He had himself his best performance of the preseason.

He had a beautiful sack of Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins in the first half.  He was able to push the offensive linemen aside and get a clear shot at the Vikings starter.

Dogbe’s name hadn’t been called much up until this point.  He may play on Thursday night.  He could be one of those few guys who need Thursday to make a final case to be on the 53-man roster.

He is also fighting for a spot on the line with Bruce Hector, Miles Brown, and Pasoni Tasini.  Brown had a nice afternoon as well with three tackles against the Vikings.  All of the aforementioned players are likely to play on Thursday night in the preseason finale.

If Dogbe somehow doesn’t make the roster, then he should definitely be a practice squad consideration.  It will all depend on how many players the Cardinals wish to keep on the defensive line.
