He made the latest 53-man roster projection following Saturday’s loss but he didn’t do himself any favors with the two holding penalties he was called for. Gossett has a lot of competition on the line.
Gossett started the last four games for the Cardinals last season, so it’s not like he’s walking into this season without much experience. Cunningham can say the same thing.
Cunningham might be a little more versatile along the line. Ehinger also has a couple more years of NFL experience as well. That might ultimately do Gossett in.
We don’t know exactly how the Cardinals coaches are grading the offensive linemen. We are assuming they keep at least 10 players on the line given injury history. We also have to determine what the Cardinals will do with Max Garcia as well.
Certainly Gossett didn’t do himself any favors on Saturday though. He will likely get another good look on Thursday night in Denver.
