Week 6: October 13 vs Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons come to Arizona for the first time since 2013. That was also the last time the Cardinals defeated the Falcons.

Last time: The last time the two played was in 2018. The Falcons easily defeated the Cardinals 40-14. In fact the Falcons have taken the last three matchups.

Key matchups: Now with Terrell Suggs in the fold along with Jordan Hicks to go along with Chandler Jones, maybe they will finally have the pass rush to get at Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

However the Cardinals do need to find a way to slow down receiver Julio Jones. The Cardinals won’t have cornerback Patrick Peterson back yet for another week. If the Cardinals pass rush is not able to get any pressure, then it could be a long day.

Prediction: Falcons 31 Cardinals 23

This could be one of those games many people expected a win out of that will fall short. The Cardinals tend to have a couple of games like this every year. If they fall in this one, it could lead to a little bit of a tailspin.
