Week 7: October 20 at New York Giants

TV: FOX 10:00 AM

The Cardinals get cornerback Patrick Peterson back this week.  It could make all the difference in the world.  It is also the first of two consecutive road games for the team.

Last time: The Cardinals defeated the Giants 23-0 two days before Christmas in 2017.  The game gave the team some hope defensively heading into the offseason but it turned out to be just a mirage.

Key matchups: Clearly the eyes are on Peterson against the Giants offense.  The big question will be here will Eli Manning still be the Giants quarterback or not?  if not, the rookie quarterback taken sixth in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Daniel Jones could be playing by now.

Prediction: Giants 22 Cardinals 17

The Cardinals should be able to keep it close but Giants running back Saquon Barkley could be too much for them, getting them into scoring position multiple times to give them just enough to squeak by. A couple of forced turnovers by Kyler Murray will do them in on the road.
