Week 8 October 27 at New Orleans Saints

TV: FOX 10:00 AM

This may end up being the toughest road test or toughest game period for the Cardinals all season.  Coming off a loss in New York won’t help with all of the weapons the Saints posses.

Last time: The Saints defeated the Cardinals in Glendale 48-40 back in 2016.  The last time the teams met in New Orleans was in 2013, with the Saints winning 31-7.

Key matchups: Drew Brees against the Cardinals defense.  Brees is likely to pick the Cardinals apart.  They have the running game with Alvin Kamara, and receivers such as Michael Thomas and tight end Jared Cook that can hurt the Cardinals all day long.

Prediction: Saints 45 Cardinals 10

This will be the biggest blowout of the season.  Certainly it would be nice to see this prediction not come to fruition but ever since the schedule was announced, this has been a game that has caused the most worry about the outcome.

Next. Arizona Cardinals: Week 1-4 predictions. dark

With these three straight losses headed into the second half of the season, the Cardinals will be at 4-4.  Still a respectable record but one that could be difficult to improve much on in weeks 9-13 with just one home game between now and December.
