Kyler Murray

Man what a rough start it was for him.  He didn’t look like his head was in the game early.  He didn’t throw a couple of passes out of bounds when he should have.

One of them resulted in his only interception of the afternoon.  That was the first half.  In the second half, different story.

Murray did his thing with his arm and his legs, just as advertised.  He threw 29-54 for 308-yards and two touchdowns.  He had three big rushes for 13-yards when it looked like nothing was going to happen.

After he had a 19-quarterback rating in the first half, he finished with a 75.2 rating for the game.  Quite a turnaround.  He certainly found a rhythm and looked much more comfortable late in the game.

Sure, he couldn’t complete the win and fell short of throwing one more touchdown in overtime.  However in the end Murray sets himself up for next week and beyond and possibly have much better starts so they don’t have to go through this week in and week out.
