. Oakland Raiders. 17. team. 28. . 1-0

Not bad Oakland, not bad at all.  People need to lay off Raiders quarterback Derek Carr a bit.  He was pretty darn good on Monday night in their 24-16 win over the Denver Broncos.

Carr went 22-26 for 259-yards.  He threw a touchdown and did not throw an interception.  That’s exactly what the Raiders will need from Carr, one who makes few mistakes.

The other stud for the Raiders on Monday night was running back Josh Jacobs.  The man was difficult to tackle.  He carried the ball 23 times for 85-yards.  He scored 2 touchdowns in their victory.

The Raiders did not seem to miss now-traded receiver Antonio Brown.  Receiver Tyrell Williams caught 6 passes for 105-yards and a touchdown.

Now the Raiders get a big test in week 2, staying home to face the Kansas City Chiefs.  The only tough part here is they will have two out of their three home division games done with in the first two weeks.
