36. . 1-0. . Seattle Seahawks. 14. team

The Seattle Seahawks may have gotten away with one on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, defeating them 21-20.  Still, a win is a win and they don’t ask how you got there in the end.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was still Russell Wilson.  He went 14-20 for 196-yards and 2 touchdowns.  However on the ground he was held in check by the Bengals defense, rushing 4 times for just 8-yards.

They also didn’t get much out of running backs Chris Carson (15 carries 46-yards) or Rashaad Penny (6 carries 18-yards).  That will need to change in a hurry.

The Seahawks defense did force Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton into 5 sacks.  Seahawks rookie receiver DK Metcalf had a nice debut, catching 4 passes for 89-yards.

Now the Seahawks go east to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 2.  The Steelers will be desperate for a win after falling to the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

This is one though the Seahawks could steal.  If they do, they are certainly on their way to competing with the Los Angeles Rams all season for NFC West supremacy.
