Week 2 NFL Power Rankings: Arizona Cardinals not at bottom
By Scott Allen

15. . 1-0. . New Orleans Saints. 9. team
As documented with the Texans, Drew Brees happened. Brees did what Brees does, leading the Saints from behind to defeat the Texans 30-28 on a 58-yard Wil Lutz field goal as time expired on Monday night. It was a slow start for the Saints but they got it going on both the ground and in the air.
Brees threw an uncharacteristic interception in the first quarter inside the Texans 10. However after that, he looked like the Brees we’ve come to know. He was 32-43 for 370-yards and 2 touchdowns on Monday.
Running back Alvin Kamara carried the ball 13 times for 97-yards. He didn’t get into the end zone but he was still productive nonetheless.
It might be hard to top what happened in the opener on Monday but the Saints travel west in week 2 to face their 2018 NFC Championship opponent in the Los Angeles Rams. You know the Saints have had this one circled since the schedule came out.
