Philadelphia Eagles. 6. team. 54. . 1-0.

When Sunday’s games were underway, it sure didn’t look like the Philadelphia Eagles were going to be this high in the rankings.  They looked more like a bottom six team rather than a top six.

However after falling down 17-0 to the Washington Redskins, the Eagles roared back to score 25 unanswered points after being down 17-7.  Welcome home to Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson.

Jackson had 8 receptions for 154-yards and 2 touchdowns.  His longest catch of the day went for 53-yards on one of his touchdowns.

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz went 28-39 for 313-yards and 3 touchdowns.  He did not throw an interception.

The Eagles defense will have some work to do to clean things up as they gave up 380-yards passing to Redskins quarterback Case Keenum however the Eagles offense is so good, it may not matter.

The Eagles stay on the road in week 2 and head south to Atlanta to take on the Falcons on Sunday Night Football.  Atlanta lost big in Minnesota last week, so they will be hungry to get their first win.
