60. . 1-0. . Minnesota Vikings. 4. team

If you asked what NFC team looked most prepared on both sides of the ball Sunday, it was the Minnesota Vikings.  They absolutely dominated the Atlanta Falcons early and often.

They raced out to a 28-0 lead and for a while looked like they might pitch a shutout against the high-powered Falcons offense.  In the end they gave up 12 points.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins only threw the ball 10 times on Sunday.  He completed eight of those passes.  He threw for 98-yards and had a touchdown pass to receiver Adam Thielen.

The offensive star of the day for the Vikings was running back Dalvin Cook.  He carried the ball 21 times for 111-yards and had 2 touchdowns.

The Vikings defense sacked Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan 4 times and forced 2 interceptions.  Playing in front of a loud home crowd in a domed stadium certainly helped them along.

They now head to Green Bay to face the Packers for the first NFC North divisional game for both.  Winner of this one will go to 2-0.
