Cardinals will get their first interception

The Cardinals may have a current takeaway/giveaway differential of 0 but they still do not have an interception on defense yet this season.  They should have had one of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford in overtime in their week 1 matchup.

They have 3 fumble recoveries so far but they need to start taking some of these passes away as well.  The are one of just five NFL teams without an interception so far.  The Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars are the other teams without an interception so far.

Russell Wilson happens to be one of five starting quarterbacks not to be intercepted so far this season.  Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are the others. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw his first late in Thursday night’s week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

In 14 career games against the Cardinals, Wilson has thrown 5 interceptions.  It’s a tall task but it’s going to get done.
