Josh Hill

You might be asking yourself who Josh Hill is?  Well he would be the Saints backup tight end to Jared Cook.  Cook has been ruled out of Sunday’s game.

That means the tight end duties fall to Hill.  We all know how much the Cardinals love covering tight ends.  To date, Hill has just 12 receptions and 1 touchdown reception.

Though no guarantees he will find the end zone with all the weapons the Saints have, you should look for Hill to be very involved.  The Saints have been able to view video of the Cardinals.  They know.

Cook himself only had 15 receptions coming into Sunday but had been targeted 11 more times.  That said, they could stick anyone in at tight end and they’d probably have some measure of success against the Cardinals defense.

Next. Cardinals set to tackle a much tougher foe. dark

Hill could be a nice crutch for Brees if he wants to keep the short game going.  Maybe the Cardinals will surprise and cover the position on Sunday?  Oh, who am I kidding?
