Markus Golden

There were a good number of fans that opposed letting Golden go.  However it seemed during the 2018 season there were more fans believing he had seen better days in a Cardinals uniform.

He tore his ACL in 2017 and wasn’t the same player in 2018.  However, coming off that torn ACL, it was surprising the Cardinals didn’t want to bring him back on at least a short contract.

This year, Golden is doing good things for the New York Giants.  He seems to now be fully recovered from his injury 2 years ago.  He has 5.5 sacks on the season halfway through.

He also has a fumble recovery for a touchdown.  That came against the Patriots on a Thursday night game in early October.

Golden has 34 tackles and 13 quarterback hits.  The Cardinals could sure use that on their defensive line this season given the injuries and suffered there.
