More consistent being aggressive

Its a trend that hopefully Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury will learn to improve on going into next season.  They come out aggressive with a hurry up offense.

They didn’t stick with it though.  After taking a 16-0 lead, the Cardinals sort of took the foot off the pedal.  They definitely did that after the first quarter on Sunday.

It was especially evident late in the game against the 49ers.  The Cardinals tend to get too conservative whenever the game is close or they have a lead.

They need to stay with what works.  I’m not sure what the play calling was all about there on offense late Sunday?

What it looked like was the Cardinals were playing not to lose rather than win.  You tend to see that in close games with young or inexperienced players.

That doesn’t mean playing hurry-up all game long.  That will wear guys out.  However it is something the Cardinals have proven this season that works.

Stop being worried about not losing.  Start mixing in plays that will keep the opposing defenses on their feet.  Going conservative up 16 against a good team like the 49ers will result in exactly what you saw on Sunday.
