Kyler Murray

Murray hates losing.  At least we know that and Murray does care, but Sunday was arguably his worst game since becoming the Cardinals starting quarterback.

He went 19-34 for 163-yards and no touchdowns.  He also threw his second pick-six of the season, both coming at home.  The first was against the Seattle Seahawks in week 4.

Murray couldn’t get anything going in the air or on the ground.  He did have 4 carries for 28-yards and scored the lone Cardinals touchdown.  The game was already over at that point as it brokw the 34-0 shutout.

Coming off a bye and his first time facing the Rams and with the Rams struggling, it had all the makings of a great day for Murray.  He was going to show the Rams that times were changing in the NFC West.

Not so much.  If anything, it showed the Rams that can at least not worry about the Cardinals for awhile while they focus on staying up with the 49ers and Seahawks.

Next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be key against another good defense.  The Steelers are currently a Wild-Card team in the AFC.  It will be a good test to see how the rookie turns things around.
