Biggest disappointment

Patrick Peterson wins this award.  Sure, we were all disappointed when he received his 6-game suspension to start the year.  However it was his resulting performance that has us more up in arms.

Peterson came out of the gates against the New York Giants and played well.  He had one of the top plays of the year in his cornerback sack of Giants quarterback Daniel Jones to help clinch a victory.

Then the following week he intercepted New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.  After that point, he was dismal.  He put in a performance 4 days later on Halloween against the San Francisco 49ers that exhibited someone who had checked out, leaving his receivers wide open.

He wasn’t much better against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the the 49ers the second time around.  It wasn’t until week 15 against the Cleveland Browns where he looked like his old self again.

Now questions going into the offseason will abound about his status with the team for 2020.  Many Cardinals fans are ready to move on.  We will see if the team is as well.
