Week 15: Sunday December 20th

San Francisco 49ers

Could the Cardinals find victory again over a divisional opponent?  This could be the first one of the year.  The Cardinals came close to defeating the 49ers in Glendale last season on Halloween.

They eventually fell 28-25, much thanks to a defense that couldn’t stop the 49ers offense on third downs.  It was the coming out party for Drake in Arizona though.

It was his first game as a Cardinal, running in place of injured backs Edmonds and Johnson. Drake scored on the opening drive.

It also was the only game that featured a touchdown from rookie receiver Andy Isabella.  Hopefully by the time this game rolls around he will have several others under his belt.

The 49ers will be their usual tough selves though.  There will be nothing easy about playing the 49ers for a long time.

Now the only hope is they can take care of home field and ensure themselves of at least a .500 record in 2020.  Hopefully the Cardinals will have addressed their defensive line in the offseason well enough to take care of business on that end of things.
