Week 16: Sunday December 27th

Washington Redskins

The Redskins will still be a work in progress in 2020.  Will Dwayne Haskins Jr. be the Skins quarterback?  There are some that still aren’t so sure.

If he is, it should be fun to watch the matchup between him and Murray.  The two teams last played to open the 2018 season in Glendale.

The players on both teams will have changed drastically by the time this game is played.  So, that 24-6 victory for the Redskins is nothing but a distant memory in the history of the franchises.

The Skins are coming off a 3-13 season.  They will have a new coach in Ron Rivera, who moves over from the Panthers.  He knows how to play the Cardinals, having seen them a number of times in big games.

The Redskins figure to be a 2019 version of the Cardinals in 2020.  They will be a dangerous team to deal with no matter the record if the game comes late in the season as predicted here.

The Cardinals will be 8-6 coming into this one probably needing a win or two at the end to be in contention for a playoff spot. We’ll see though.
