Week 5: Sunday October 11th

at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys will have a new coach in tow in Mike McCarthy in 2020.  He replaces Jason Garrett after his 9 seasons in Dallas.

We all know what happened the last time McCarthy faced the Cardinals.  As head coach of the Green Bay Packers, his team lost to the Cardinals 20-17 on December 2nd, 2018.  It would also be his last game as Packers coach, getting fired after losing to the eventual 3-13 Cardinals.

McCarthy inherits a Dallas team that doesn’t seem sure which direction it wants to go in.  They have the personnel to win a lot of games.  One would believe they underachieved in 2019, but did they really?

Maybe we really have seen the best we will see from this group of Cowboys.  It will certainly be interesting what happens in free agency and the draft.

Of course both teams still have to fill their rosters out but we know who the main stars will be.  That won’t change. The Cardinals will likely drop this one though heading into their bye week.
