Week 7: Sunday October 25th

at San Francisco 49ers

The best time to face the 49ers would be coming off the bye.  The Cardinals almost stole a couple of games from the 49ers in 2019.

The game in San Francisco ended up being quite a fiasco in the end.  The Cardinals were up 26-23 with less than a minute left and all they had to do was hold the 49ers to a field goal attempt to make it to overtime.

Instead, they blitzed and got burned.  Then after turning over the ball on the final play of the game trying to make something happen, they eventually lost 36-26.  They started out with a 16-0 lead.

The 49ers look to be very good for years to come, so the Cardinals will have a lot of catching up to do.  That’s not to say they can’t win these games because we saw what happened in 2019 but they will still be a difficult challenge.
