2. at New England Patriots (week 12)

There may be a changing of the guard in the AFC, but until a season completes, everything will still run through New England despite the loss of quarterback Tom Brady.  The Patriots will still be a tough game, especially on the road.

The Patriots defense was tops in the NFL last season.  Sure, they’ve lost a few bodies to free agency, but not enough to make a drastic drop in performance.

This is a late November game back east.  That typically doesn’t bode well for teams like the Cardinals.  It is also a Sunday early window game, so it has possible disaster written all over it.

The last time the Cardinals went to New England, they won 20-18.  However that was in week 2 in September.  The last time they faced cold weather in Foxboro?  That would be in 2008 when they were annihilated 47-7 in mid-December.

Don’t look for a similar score this year, at least from a Cardinals perspective.  It should be a much more competitive game than that one.
