Arizona Cardinals: 3 games that could decide season
By Scott Allen
Week 13 – Los Angeles Rams
In what easily was the most embarrassing game for the Cardinals last season (and arguably for each of the past three seasons), the Rams again bring their talents to Glendale. The Cardinals were steamrolled 34-7 last year and have been outscored 97-32 over the last three at home against the Rams.
The closest game over the last six games to the Rams, all losses, was when the Cardinals lost 31-24 in last season’s finale in Los Angeles. At that point though both teams had been eliminated from playoff contention.
Now the Rams return with yet another December trip. The last three Rams visits have also been in the month of December.
How this game goes could make or break wild card chances. The same could be said for the Rams as well, so right now its really tough to say what to expect here.
If either team is even within a breath of playoff contention at this point it actually could end up being one of the more entertaining games of the season. However 2014 is the last time the Cardinals beat the Rams at home.
