Key injuries

Both teams come into this one relatively healthy.  Let’s hope it stays that way.

Arizona – TE Maxx Williams has been limited in practice this week.  WR’s Larry Fitzgerald and DeAndre Hopkins sat out Wednesday’s practice but they just had a day off.

San Francisco: WR’s Deebo Samuel (foot), Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) and CB Jason Verrett are dealing with injuries that kept them out of practice on Wednesday.

Prediction

We should see a lot of what we saw in 2019.  Except the Cardinals defense may be able to make a stop or two more this year and have a better chance of coming out on top.

Both teams jumped out to early leads in the road games last year with the Niners prevailing in both games.  It’s a new year, an updated Cardinals defense and upgraded offense with Hopkins.

Certainly that’s all on paper though.  This is why they play the games.  Cardinals surprise some outside of Arizona and defeat the 49ers 27-25.
