Raising Zona: The Rams have been hit with some painful losses the last two weeks. What has gone wrong since beating New England?

Ramblin’ Fan:

Injuries have really started to mount with the Rams. Losing Cam Akers, Michael Brockers, Center Brian Allen, and Tyler Higbee is rough. The trenches is where the NFL wins. When valuable people in the trenches get hurt, it’s hard to replace that kind of talent.

You also have to point to Jared Goff. Something is just not clicking with him. It’s been a problem most of the season, the Rams have just had a defense that can make up for mistakes. Look at the win over the Giants in week 4. The loss to the 49ers in week 6. The loss to the Dolphins in week 8. These were games where Goff just was off.

Lastly, how good really are the Rams? They’ve compiled a 4-0 record against the NFC East this season, the worst division in football. If you take those 4 wins away, this is a 5-6 football team.
