A.J. Green – WR

So far this season, A.J. Green has proven to be a great addition to the Cardinals roster. Most figured his time as a reliable receiver in the NFL was over a few years ago, but the former member of the Cincinnati Bengals has had a bit of a re-birth in his short tenure with Arizona.

In eight games this season, the seven-time Pro Bowl receiver has a total of 29 catches for 456 yards and three touchdowns. Green is currently on pace to finish with at least 60 receptions and 900 yards for the first time since 2017.

Unfortunately for the Cardinals, the 33-year-old is scheduled to be a free agent in 2022. It’s possible that Green could return to Arizona for at least one more season, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he attempted to cash in somewhere else either.

Plus, Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk will also be a free agent next year. If Arizona has to choose between bringing back Green or the 24-year-old Kirk in 2022, the older veteran will likely be the one shown the door.
