Reason #3 the Arizona Cardinals won’t win their first Super Bowl: The late-season schedule

Even after getting DeAndre Hopkins back, the schedule past Week 10 is absolutely brutal. Games against powerhouse teams such as the Los Angeles Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Denver Broncos (on the road in the likely snow); it’s a nightmarish finish.

It’s not that the Cardinals aren’t going to be competitive in these games, but playing them one after another is going to take a toll on Arizona.

This could come down to the Cardinals needing help to get into the postseason and with the whole Chargers-Raiders ending last year where it was almost a tie and both teams nearly got in, it could see a team intentionally do something to keep the Cardinals out.

It’s a weird thing to fret, but more teams are aware of that more than ever now. Arizona will have to ball out in order to get into the playoffs.
