It is going to be an incredibly difficult decision for Mike LaFleur and the first-year coaching staff regarding the quarterback position, with three guys that have all made cases to be the opening week starters.
With Jacoby Brissett, who threw for 3,336 yards and 23 touchdowns in the 12 games he started, returning on a reworked contract, it seems likely that he is the frontrunner for the job despite the 1–11 record as a starter.
Arizona also brought in Gardner Minshew on a one-year, $5 million contract, seemingly making the quarterback competition all the more challenging.
The third, and most surprising move of them all, was the fact that general manager Monti Ossenfort chose to select Carson Beck out of the University of Miami with pick No. 65. Fresh off a National Championship appearance, the man who was behind it all would be on his way to the desert in hopes of competing for that starting spot.
Cardinals fans should be excited about the work ethic from Beck, as he made it clear that he is willing to put in the extra work.
"From day one, for me, I didn't want to ease into anything, to be completely honest."

Beck mentioned that each day at the facility would last 12 to 13 hours, putting in overtime to ensure that he is the best version of himself come training camp.
In his senior season with the Hurricanes, Beck totaled 3,813 yards with 30 passing touchdowns and a passer rating of 157.
